Holiday Card Design

Objective: To design an elegant and pleasing holiday card for The New England Institute of Art. Items to include: a die cut and list all departments at the NEiA. Not specific to one holiday. Goal was to make the card generic for everyone.

Solution: Researched items that were generic to all holidays celebrated during this time and used an illustration of a candle and flame. A die cut on the front, where the wax part of the candle is, was used to create visual interest and interaction from the viewer. The wax part of the candle is still seen on the cover from the “I" in logo directly on the page inside. Devised a slogan, Season Greetings and Happy Holidays to suit all audiences. Illustrations were personally created and used in this holiday card.
