Magazine Design
Objective: To design a name, logo
and magazine layout in an original way that reflects the feeling and content
of a chosen magazine subject. To contain table of contents, editors note,
columnist, features (cover and secondary), departments and masthead. All
elements must reflect and relate to chosen subject.
Solution: Developed Vinyl Voices a magazine about designer collectable toys.
Designed the magazine to have a street art appeal that suited this topic, because
many street artists have created multiple vinyl toys. The pages are simple
yet elegant to display information to the reader appropriately and easily.
The tilted type would appeal to the target audience and reflected street art
qualities.
