Project Description:
Below is a personal project that was made for no real client. The goal was to design a two-paged newsletter, front and back with a given amount of body copy and masthead. Titled Weeds & Seeds, a newsletter about gardening for couples and women who are beginners looking to invest time into this activity as a hobby. I focused on the positive and negative shapes of gardening tools to help grab the
Related Projects: MAGAZINE DESIGN attention of the onlooker. Showing simple tools and shapes wouldn’t overwhelm the beginner. Enlarging and positioning the tools in the middle of the pages helped direct and focus on the simplification of each object. A script and sans serif typeface were combined to form Weeds & Seeds, to help enhance the life of the masthead design (located at the top of the newsletter).
